I would like to know what breed this Chinese Shar Pei is? Is there a more specific name for this one?

There is only one breed and that's a Chinese Shar Pei, there are no other specific name or breed for a shar-pei. Unless of course there is a mixed breed. Today the popular breed to mix anything with is the poodle, labradoodle, cockapoo. Could the next mix be a pei-poo?

i have a sharpei and there are a few different kinds, this sharpei is a horsecoat sharpei.. I have a brushcoat sharpei, which has longer softer hair. this sharpei has short corse hair. this is why it is called a horsecoat :)

the really is only one breed of Shar pei—-they normally have more wrinkles when they are puppys then they lose some of thier wrinkles after fulll grown—-but they are still full of wrinkles. Someone told me they make minture shar pei but I havn't found anyone that breeds or sells them, so i am not sure,

hope that helps

The breed is Shar-Pei. Most variations within the breed don't change the breed name. You can have short hair, wire hair and long haired Dachshunds for instance, but they're all considered to be the Dachshund breed.

I've seen quite a few Shar-Peis in real life, none of them that wrinkly, but they were all adults. I suspect that's a picture of a puppy. If they have different names for dogs with more or less wrinkles, I'm unaware of it, but you might want to look them up
on google. I love dogs, but am not at all fond of this breed, and have no real interest in learning more about them, sorry.

It is a SharPei, beware when getting one, they have lots of skin problems and are frequently nasty-tempered.
