Skin Cancer? My aunt’s shar-pei died of kidney failure. Peanut was 7 years old too.

Every Shar Pei …
Every Shar Pei owner will be in tears reading that. I have a 5year old Alfie who we rescued from the RSPCA (uk) he settled in so well after a rough start in life, and cant imagin our home without him now.
My heart goes out to you and your family and your sad sad loss. Every dog is missed that p es but once a Sharp-Pei has touched your lifes they are missed forever.

Raven had Skin …
Raven had Skin cancer, everything we could do was done to help her but she started loosing weight and stopped eating and was in a lot of pain.

Raven didn’t have …
Raven didn’t have Amyloid nor was there nothing wrong with her kidneys. She had skin Cancer she also had a very bad allergy to gr , the vets did everything possible, but there was nothing left to be done for her but put her out of her pain.

No they aren’t, …
No they aren’t, they can be stand offish with strangers if not trained properly, they are wonderful family dogs and very loving and devoted dogs.

i have boston, now …
i have boston, now 13 years old. i had both of his parents until they p ed years ago. it is so devastating to do the right thing when you know that their quality of life has diminshed. the love, and companionship they have gave me will stay with me forever. i hope i am strong when boston’s time comes, and think of him only.he has old age problems, but still loves getting around.i cry when i watch your video. to those who read this, colchicine helps with the kidneys, might want to ask your vet.

and why did she die …
and why did she die again? why just 7 years? very frustrating :’(

is this true? aren’t dog foods consist mainly of meat? so if i feed dog food to my pei, he’ll get a kidney disease? what?!?!?!?!?

I miss my sharpei too….she was named MAGOO and was so vey special…..

She’s beautiful, and it’s a cliche but don’t rue the missed years but cherish the ones she was here, you’re so lucky to have had her.

My heart goesout to you. I had a black female named Amanda Mae we lost her at 8 years old to kidney failure. Looking at your video brings back so many good memories, as well as the heartache. I have 3 bulldaogs as well as 2 mixed and at one time we had 7 dogs, to try to help with the loss of Amanda. Nothing can ever replace the love of a shar pei.

sorry you lost your pei. I have a 7 year old with various health issues. I know I’ll have to deal with loss soon enough. But despite that fact, I’ll always be a shar pei enthusiast. No amount of loss and vet bills can change that. Once you go Pei, you can’t go back.
