UPDATE: She is no longer at the shelter. I do not know if she was ever adopted or not…

Spayed Female; Approx. 8 months old. VERY sweet and loving dog. She has been at the shelter since 2/13/07.

I never got people …
I never got people who only want purebred dogs; who cares, unless the person is looking for a show-dog…it’s usually just about bragging rights. Which is really terrible since most shelter dogs are mixed breeds from what I hear.
And even for those …
And even for those shallow people who would only want a purebred dog - there are SO many of those too! For example just the other day a gorgeous purebred Golden Retreiver was adopted, and today a purebred Min Pin puppy. I’m not kidding when I say it’s possible to find ANY dog you could possibly want in a shelter if you look hard enough…
I know… it’s so …
I know… it’s so sad. On any given day I could walk into that shelter and find at LEAST one dog (but usually probably way more than that) who I would absolutely LOVE to have and who I know would make an absolutely perfect pet. It’s just sad that more people don’t realize this.
