Chinese shar-pei question.?

I have a 8 month old chinese shar=pei and i have notice that is front bottom teeth are covered with fat, now i understand it is the kind of dog he is an he has a very meaty head, but i want to know if this is normal? the vet said he had an overbite could that be anything to do with it? does it need to be corrected?

It could- only correct the overbite if it affects your pups health and/or eating. Good luck! Enjoy your pup! Shar-Pei's are awesome!!

The Shar-Pei is a hard breed to own and raise. the excess skin can sometimes have to be removed in certain areas, the mouth and Eye areas are most problematic. I would talk to your vet again to get the most accurate answer for your dog.
each one has it's own needs and you wouldn't want to get the wrong advice from total strangers here.

Good Luck to you and Mr Wrinkles…. :o)
